Hot on the heels of opening 10 hotels last year, including its first properties in Greece, Japan, and Nepal, Dusit’s expansion continues apace. Two new luxury brands, new destinations, and a returning landmark ensure the distinctive Dusit experiences just keep coming.
Dusit Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality branch of Dusit International, a prominent Thai hotel and property development company, is set to mark its triumphant return to ITB Berlin from March 5 to 7. They will showcase an impressive array of new destinations, innovative brands, and the eagerly awaited reopening of their iconic flagship, Dusit Thani Bangkok, scheduled for this September.
Under the guidance of Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, the Dusit team will offer a comprehensive overview of their worldwide portfolio. Emphasizing Dusit’s commitment to personalized service, community engagement, holistic well-being, and sustainability, they will also unveil the latest additions to the Dusit family.
Among the notable international openings highlighted from the previous year are Dusit Suites Athens in Greece, Dusit Princess Hotel Residences Nairobi in Kenya, ASAI Kyoto Shijo, and Dusit Thani Kyoto in Japan, as well as Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel and Dusit Princess Kathmandu in Nepal.
Exciting new additions in Thailand include ASAI Bangkok Sathorn, dusitD2 Samyan Bangkok, and Dusit Princess Phatthalung, expanding Dusit’s domestic presence to 18 properties.
Looking ahead to 2024, Dusit anticipates approximately 10 new openings across existing and new markets, including China, the Maldives, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, and India. Visitors to ITB Berlin will also get insights into Dusit’s two new luxury brands: Dusit Collection and Devarana – Dusit Retreats.
Dusit Collection caters to the rising demand for unique travel experiences, offering personalized services and authentic engagements. Devarana – Dusit Retreats redefines ultra-luxury stays with enriching experiences.
A significant highlight at ITB Berlin will be the grand return of Dusit Thani Bangkok in September, promising a fresh interpretation of its legendary heritage. Situated in the same prime location as its predecessor, the reimagined hotel will feature spacious rooms, a large ballroom, diverse dining options, and an urban sanctuary wellness concept.
Dusit’s presence at ITB Berlin will also showcase special campaigns and promotions tied to their 75th anniversary in May. Additionally, they will highlight opportunities in Dusit Hospitality Education and Dusit Foods, their growing food division.
Gilles Cretallaz remarked, “ITB Berlin provides a platform to share our vision for Thai-inspired hospitality worldwide. With our expanding portfolio and innovative brands, we continue to redefine luxury experiences. The return of Dusit Thani Bangkok marks a significant milestone, and we’re excited to unveil its reimagined offerings and the memorable experiences available at Dusit Hotels and Resorts.”
Dusit’s portfolio now comprises 299 properties in 18 countries, including 56 under Dusit Hotels and Resorts and 243 luxury villas under Elite Havens, acquired in September 2018.
