WORK
Awaken by the alarm 6 am and realizing it was a Saturdays. I just love Saturdays! Working the whole week, it was my day to do R & R. It actually started already with a TGIF party at one of the exclusive clubs at the neighboring BGC.
After a quick cup of coffee and shower, drove to the Tuscany at McKinley Hill to have breakfast. Actually even during workdays, it’s so convenient to have breakfast (lunch or dinner) at the Tuscany row where you have different options of restos and cafes to choose from.
That morning, I decided to go to Black Canyon Coffee for a quick breakfast. I checked out the menu.
I did not feel like having a rice meal that morning so decided to have Ham and Cheese Omelette with Bacon. Something light but fulfilling for my appetite.
Feeling thirsty, I ordered an Iced Lemon Tea for refreshment to go along with the breakfast order.
It was a very good choice to have the Ham and Cheese Omellete with Bacon. Enjoyed it with the toast. Not too heavy on the carbs but it satisfied my hunger with these continental delights.
Black Canyon is a nice place to have breakfast. With their wi-fi access, I was able to catch up with the e-mails and what’s happening reading the online dailies on my tablet. I manage even post to Instagram my breakfast 🙂
LEARN
After the fulfilling breakfast, I headed to Enderun College for my cooking class. I tried one of their 1-Day Culinary Boot Camp certificate courses. We were taught to cook variety of dishes but the best was the Beef Tenderloin Rossini in Risotto topped with Foie Gras.
I enjoyed the cooking and of course what I cooked! Yummy!
After the fun of learning how to cook great food, I even got a certificate!
LIVE
Went to my dream place, The Venice Luxury Residence, a great place to live in the heart of McKinley Hill estate. It is inspired by great Ventian architecture. I just love it there!
PLAY
I went to the nearby Dutchess Haven Nail Salon and SPA, a great place to unwind and relax with a paraffin foot treatment. It was a great experience for me soaking my feet on hot paraffin to coat my feet and give it a new glow. The after treatment foot massage relaxed my aching feet as well.
I also passed by the Emperador Stadium where I saw some football team practicing. I should try football one of these days.
SHOP
One of the best place to shop in Mckinley Hill is the Venice Piazza, just walking distance from the residence. It will also have the future Grand Canal Mall area where you can experience Gondola rides as if you are in Venice.
DREAM
The day ended and I realized that it was a dream! A dream for me to experience these activities as part of #ILOVEMKH bloggers evemt by Megaworld. The activities above I have experienced showed me and my blogger friends how fun it is to live in McKinley Hill.
