The much-awaited ABS-CBN primetime series, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” will feature the phenomenal loveteam of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano in their first-ever collaboration.
Expressing her excitement, Belle shared, “Ever since this was always a dream of mine. Growing up, I used to watch primetime seryes. To be able to do one with Direk Mae and Donny, I’m so excited,” during the project announcement.
Donny added, “It was something we both have prayed about, and we can’t imagine na ito na ‘yun. We are really starting it.”
Following the success of their hit online series “He’s Into Her” and blockbuster movies “Love is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love,” DonBelle is now ready to embark on a new challenge as Bingo (Donny) and Caroline (Belle) in a one-of-a-kind story that delves into the realities faced by today’s teenagers, resonating with viewers of all generations.
Aside from being DonBelle’s first full-length series, “Can’t Buy Me Love” also marks their collaboration with the blockbuster director Mae Cruz Alviar, known for the hit series “2 Good 2 Be True.”
