Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano are set to bring an overload of ‘kilig’ as they showcase their undeniable chemistry in the upcoming Viu original series, How to Spot a Red Flag—a collaboration between ABS-CBN and Viu, produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
After teasing fans and creating buzz online, DonBelle officially revealed the series’ title and logo during a story conference and script reading event on Wednesday, September 25.
Joining the cast of this light romantic drama are Jameson Blake, Angel Aquino, Christian Vasquez, Benjie Paras, Mylene Dizon, Esnyr, and Kira Balinger. The series will be directed by seasoned filmmaker Dwein Baltazar.
How to Spot a Red Flag follows a spunky barista (played by Belle) who finds herself caught between two strikingly handsome men—a confident bad boy (Jameson) and a charming good guy (Donny)—both of whom are catfishing her. As she navigates the red flags in both relationships, will she still be able to find true love?
This marks the first local Viu original series in collaboration with ABS-CBN, following successful partnerships on the Philippine adaptations of The Broken Marriage Vow, Flower of Evil, and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.
