DITO Transforms Bacolod into a Vibrant Hub of Music, Culture, and Connectivity

DITO Telecommunity is excited to spread smiles at this year’s MassKara Festival, one of the Philippines’ most anticipated cultural celebrations. Marking its Sapphire Anniversary in its 45th year, this month-long festival showcases Bacolod’s rich culture and vibrant spirit, earning the city the title of the “City of Smiles.” Known for its lively street parades featuring performers in colorful masks and tribal attire, the festival serves as a joyous reminder of Bacolod’s cityhood.

Partnering with the City Government of Bacolod, this year’s MassKara Festival promises even more excitement with DITO’s engaging lineup of activities.

The celebration kicked off with the MassKara Festival Grand Countdown Salubong on October 11, 2024. In the coming days, DITO will present special awards and cash prizes for various events. The Coronation Night for Miss Bacolod MassKara 2024 will take place on October 19, showcasing the city’s most talented contestants. A special award, the Miss DITO Telecommunity 2024, will be presented to the candidate who exemplifies confidence and a passion for community-building. The festival will also feature the TODO Na DITO sa MassKara ElekTROIKA Divas, celebrating women in music, alongside the TODO Na DITO sa MassKara Electric Float Parade on October 26, where the award for Bacolod’s Best Float of 2024 will be given to the most stunning display. The festivities will culminate with the TODO Na DITO MassKara Street Dance & Arena Competition on October 27, featuring talented groups showcasing their creativity in the Unity Dance Segment to the catchy “TODO NA DITO” tune.

DITO is set to host a spectacular three-day celebration filled with excitement and entertainment at the DITO Corporate Block on Lacson Tourism Strip from October 25 to 27, 2024.

On October 25, catch Cup of Joe, known for their hit song “Tingin,” and on October 26, enjoy performances from dynamic P-pop group ALAMAT, famous for “Maharani,” along with the talented Hev Abi, known for his song “Walang Alam.” Local artists and fantastic DJs will also join in, ensuring a celebration filled with great music and energy.
