A revenge-fueled ride from start to finish, this upcoming series stars Kim Namjoo and Cha Eunwoo
In the upcoming Korean drama, “Wonderful World,” set to premiere on Disney+ on March 1, a professor takes justice into her own hands when her son is killed without repercussions.
Eun Soohyun, portrayed by Kim Namjoo (known for “Misty” and “Queen of Housewives”), once enjoyed a successful career as a psychology professor and renowned writer. However, her life takes a tragic turn when her son falls victim to others’ actions, catapulting her into a deep depression. Fueled by a singular desire for revenge, Soohyun embarks on an extraordinary journey to avenge her son.
Alongside Kim Namjoo, Cha Eunwoo (from “True Beauty” and “A Good Day to be a Dog”) plays Gwon Seonyul, a medical school dropout who shares a bond with Soohyun, both grappling with similar traumas. “Wonderful World” is scripted by Kim Jieun (known for “Lie After Lie” and “Cheongdam-dong Scandal”) and directed by Yi Seungyoung (from “Tracer” and “Voice 2”).
This compelling addition to Disney+ brings a blend of revenge, drama, and emotional depth to its Korean content lineup. “Wonderful World” joins other acclaimed Korean productions on Disney+, such as “Moving,” which follows South Korean spies protecting their super-powered children, and “The Worst of Evil,” a gripping crime thriller featuring a volatile police officer infiltrating a dangerous gang.
Prepare to stream the intense and emotionally charged “Wonderful World” on Disney+ starting March 1.
