Asia’s Pop Heartthrob, Darren, has unveiled his latest single, “Iyo” featured in the soundtrack of the primetime series “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
The song serves as a heartfelt confession of love and a vow to stand steadfast through life’s trials and triumphs. Produced by ABS-CBN Music’s creative director, Jonathan Manalo, arranged by Tommy Katigbak, and mixed and mastered by Dante Tañedo, “Iyo” captures the essence of enduring love.
Darren initially performed the Chinese version of the song within the storyline of “Can’t Buy Me Love,” expressing his affection for Belle Mariano’s character, Caroline. The music video, launched on Valentine’s Day, showcases the series’ beloved stars Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings, who portray Irene and Snoop, captivating viewers’ hearts.
Last year, Darren released his single “Bibitaw Na” under Star Music, amassing over 7.3 million views on TikTok and 285,000 streams on Spotify, further solidifying his presence in the music scene.
