I was invited by the Araneta Group to attend the Binibining Pilipinas 2013 Fashion Show at the Big Dome last April 11, 2013. The Binibinis jazzed up the runway with casuals from JAG at the first part of the event.
The highlight of the event was 2nd part: the 50 candidates clad with “heritage” gowns from fashion guru Pitoy Moreno. The current Miss Univers 2012 1st runner-up Janine Tugonon, Bb. Pilipinas-International 2012 Nicole Schimitz, Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2012 Katrina Dimaranan, and Miss Supranational 2012 3rd runner up Elaine Kay Moll strut at the fashion ramp of the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The fashion show as directed by Raymond Villanueva. They featured selected outfits that ranged from elegant gowns to fun and sexy formals.
The fashion show is the last of the many activities before the grand Coronation Night to be held on Sunday, April 14 at the Big Dome. This will be telecast live on ABS-CBN.
The grand Coronation night will be hosted by Martin Nievera and Dawn Zulueta together with Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup. Tickets are available through Ticketnet Online www.ticketnet.com.ph or inquire at 911-5555.
