From trailblazing pioneers to leaders at the forefront—AC Recio and Harvey Llamosa, the first graduates of the 2016 Camp COMCO Mentorship Program, have been promoted to Associate Directors at COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises. This milestone reflects the company’s commitment to nurturing homegrown talent. The announcement was made during the first-ever Purple Ball, which also celebrated COMCO Mundo’s major wins at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) 2024 Global Gold Quill Awards, including the prestigious Agency of the Year Award.
Harvey Llamosa, from Camp COMCO Cycle 1 under House Bearcat, has taken on the role of Chief of Staff to the Group Chief Executive Director and Associate Director for Executive Initiatives and Communications / Partner. Llamosa played a key role in growing the group’s MARCOMAX (Marketing, Communications, Advocacy, and Excellence) and GBX (Growth of Brand Partnerships) divisions. He also helped establish COMCO’s School of Communications. “COMCO has been instrumental in shaping my professional and personal growth over the past nine years,” Llamosa expressed. “I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and lessons that have made me who I am today.”
AC Recio, a graduate from Camp COMCO Cycle 1 under House Hawksbill, has been promoted to Associate Director for Digital, Content Studio & Multimedia Arts and Business Administrator Pro Tempore / Partner. Recio has been integral in building the agency’s digital, social media, and content practice, helping launch COMCO’s creative media arm, SEA Wave & Spice Multimedia Content Studio. He also leads the group’s BRANDENARC (Brand Identity and Architecture) program. “COMCO has always been a nurturing environment for learning and growth,” Recio shared. “I’m honored to lead my team and pass on the knowledge that has been generously shared with me.”
COMCO Mundo also announced several other key promotions within its core team. Queenie Resmundo, Senior Brand Communications Manager for New PR and Smart Social, has been promoted to official partner. Patricia Raña steps into the role of Associate Corporate Services Manager and Special Assistant to the Comptroller, while Eleanor Cenizal has been elevated to Associate Director for Corporate Services.
Cheska Gutierrez and Louise Gamboa received accelerated promotions, with Gutierrez now serving as Senior Corporate Services Officer and Gamboa as Communications Marketing Services Officer. Sharmaine Irish Padua was promoted to Executive Initiatives and Communications Officer, and Gabriel Hagen Gonzales now holds the position of Digital and Multimedia Arts Officer.
Nicole Bamba takes on the role of Senior Digital and Multimedia Arts Associate, Ramil Balaong is promoted to Logistics and Production Associate, and Shane Jhastin Picson has been regularized as Digital and Content Studio Associate.

COMCO Mundo’s Purple Ball also celebrated the company’s victory in receiving five prestigious Gold Quill Awards for projects like the Century Tuna “Saving Our Seas” Initiative, UNMASKED: The COMCO Mundo Write to Ignite Initiative Season 3, and the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program. Topping it off, COMCO Mundo was named Agency of the Year, making history as the first communications agency from the Philippines and Southeast Asia to receive this honor.
