Primetime King Coco Martin promises an even more thrilling and action-packed season of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo as the popular series kicks off its third year, unveiling new cast members during the “Saludo Kay Tanggol” grand Kapamilya homecoming at ABS-CBN on Tuesday (January 28).
“We carefully studied every storyline, character, and how to weave the original plot and characters with the new ones. I assure all Filipinos that FPJ’s Batang Quiapo will be even better—more touching, more action-packed, and more dramatic than ever,” Coco shared.
The red carpet event marked the start of a new chapter in the series, welcoming new cast members such as Jake Cuenca, Andrea Brillantes, Albert Martinez, Angel Aquino, Chanda Romero, Shamaine Buencamino, Juan Rodrigo, Dante Rivero, Michael De Mesa, and Celia Rodriguez, along with Paolo Paraiso, Albie Casiño, Gillian Vicencio, Alhdrin John Opilac, Ahl Opilac, and Diana Opilac.
ABS-CBN executives and employees, including chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, joined in expressing their deep appreciation for the team behind the No. 1 primetime teleserye.
Among those honored at the event were the creative team, production staff, directors, and the current and new cast members of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
The series continues to captivate Filipino audiences, breaking records with an all-time high of 803,123 peak concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube last January 23.
