Exciting Collaboration: Coco Martin to Direct Action Scenes in ‘Pamilya Sagrado’

In an exciting development, Primetime King Coco Martin is teaming up with the popular ABS-CBN series “Pamilya Sagrado,” led by Piolo Pascual, to direct several thrilling action scenes.

In a recent interview with “TV Patrol,” Coco expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with the “Pamilya Sagrado” team, noting the series is set to feature a major and explosive action sequence.

“We’re here to support and contribute,” Coco said. “It’s a great honor to direct Kuya PJ [Piolo Pascual] and the esteemed veteran actors.” The interview also showcased Coco directing a scene featuring Piolo Pascual, John Arcilla, and Shaina Magdayao.

Although Coco is well-known for directing hit action shows like “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” he admitted that working on “Pamilya Sagrado” presents new challenges. “Honestly, I’m a bit stressed, but we’re excited because the story is fantastic. We’re giving it our all,” he shared.

This project marks Coco’s first time directing an action TV series without being one of the actors. “Usually, I direct my own shows because I’m also the lead actor. This time, it’s wonderful to focus solely on directing,” Coco revealed.

With the collaboration between the “Batang Quiapo” and “Pamilya Sagrado” teams, viewers can look forward to even more intense and action-packed episodes. Recently, both shows achieved record-breaking online viewership on Kapamilya Online Live: “Batang Quiapo” reached 659,229 peak concurrent views, while “Pamilya Sagrado” hit 642,170 peak concurrent views.

Tune in to “Pamilya Sagrado” for thrilling action scenes weeknights at 8:45 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Online Live, and TFC. The series also streams 48 hours before its TV broadcast on iWantTFC.
