This weekend, the cable channel holds a Mother’s Day Weekend Special with heartwarming movies “Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” “A Mother’s Story,” “Sa’Yo Lamang,” “Tanging Yaman,” “Anak,” and other tales of motherhood showing on Saturday (May 8). “Mama’s Girl,” “The Mommy Returns,” “Madrasta,” “Ang Tanging Ina,” and “Everything About Her” also air on Sunday (May 9).
Fun and light stories about mommies take center stage on Tuesday Comedy with Sharon Cuneta’s “Unexpectedly Yours” on May 11, Pokwang and Eugene Domingo’s “D’ Lucky Ones” on May 18, and Maricel Soriano and Eugene’s “Momzillas” on May 25.
The C1 Exclusives section likewise highlights mamas and their stories of struggles featuring “Ang Nerseri” with Jaclyn Jose on May 9 (Sunday), “Mater Dolorosa” with Gina Alajar on May 16, “Foster Child” starring Cherry Pie Picache on May 23, and “Sandalang Bahay” on May 30.
Meanwhile, the Cinema One YouTube channel continues to stream full movies this summer featuring the award-winning film “Mamu: And A Mother Too” starring Iyah Mina, which will be available from May 9 to 15 also in celebration of Mother’s Day.
