ABS-CBN’s newest drama series “Dirty Linen” has two official theme songs performed by Kice, third placer of “Idol Philippines” season 2, and rising singer-songwriter CESCA. Kice sings “Simulan,” a power ballad about choosing love over life’s hardships, while CESCA sings “Kung Makakapili Lang,” a beautiful rendition that accompanies romantic moments of the show’s lead characters, played by Janine Gutierrez, Zanjoe Marudo, Seth Fedelin, and Francine Diaz.
The songs were composed by Jonathan Manalo, Rox Santos, and Edmund Perlas for “Simulan,” and Jonathan Manalo and Trisha Denise for “Kung Makakapili Lang.” Kice, who is also set to act in the upcoming series “Linlang,” gained popularity through his stint in “Idol PH” season 2, while CESCA made her music debut with her single “Lovesick (Pagmahalasakit)” which topped Spotify Philippines’ Fresh Finds playlist. Her second single, “Pambihirang Harana,” was released in 2022.
