In a wave of inspiration, Century Tuna, the leading tuna brand in the Philippines, proudly crowns Jether Palomo and Justine Felizarta as the Grand Winners of Century Tuna Superbods 2024 #BestYouEver, surpassing 36 finalists.
Jether Palomo, the Male Superbod Grand Winner of Century Tuna, is a Filipino fitness influencer and Mister Tourism World Philippines, known for sharing his wellness and travel adventures. Meanwhile, Justine Felizarta, the Female Superbods Grand Winner, holds the title of Miss Tourism World 2022 1st runner-up and is an inspiring figure in beauty and fitness circles.
Both Jether and Justine will each receive a tax-free prize of PHP500,000. Patrick Patawaran and Jessica Marasigan were also recognized as runners-up in the Century Tuna Superbods competition.
Celebrating physical transformation and personal growth, Century Tuna Superbods 2024 #BestYouEver showcased the journeys of its 36 finalists, highlighting their dedication to self-love and self-improvement. The competition, a pinnacle event in fitness and wellness in the Philippines, encouraged participants to embrace their best selves alongside Century Tuna and the Superbods community.
The Finals Night, hosted at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay, featured a star-studded lineup headlined by Century Tuna Superbod Kathryn Bernardo. Leading the #BestYouEver movement, she delivered a stunning performance alongside the iconic dance group, GForce. Adding to the excitement, Filipino indie band Lola Amour captivated the audience with their viral hits, including “Raining in Manila”.
In addition to the electrifying performances, the distinguished panel of judges for the Century Tuna Superbods Finals Night included Miss Universe 2015 and Century Tuna Endorser Ms. Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, Primetime and Box Office Queen and Supermom Ms. Marian Rivera-Dantes, Philippines’ Original Heartthrob Mr. Aga Muhlach, and Actor and Public Servant Mr. Richard Gomez. They were joined by PC&V Communications Inc. President Ms. Carol San Pedro, Century Pacific Food Inc. Vice President and General Manager for Branded Tuna Division Mr. Carlo Endaya, and Century Pacific Food Inc. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Greg Banzon.
The Finals Night was expertly hosted by actor Robi Domingo and Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel. The event highlighted the healthy and fit physiques of the Superbods finalists, who shared their inspiring #BestYouEver stories while showcasing Bench Activewear, swimwear, and resort wear on the runway. The evening culminated in the announcement of the Top 8 Male and Top 8 Female Superbods for the Question and Answer portion.
Among the standout finalists were Jether Palomo, Jeff Ong, Aaron Davis, Carlo Adorador, Patrick Patawaran, Naia Ching, Nikko Nackaerts, Michael Ver Comaling, Justine Felizarta, Jessica Marasigan, Imelda Schweighart, Morena Carlos, Inka Magnaye, Julia Sucgang-Bonoan, Brooke Barredo, and Keylyn Trajano.
During the question-and-answer segment, Jether Palomo captivated the judges with his heartfelt response: “You can authentically show who you are as a person. Ultimately, I didn’t fall apart but fell into place. Now I want to be able to use that social platform to continue to inspire others on their fitness journey to becoming their best selves.”
Justine Felizarta also expressed her gratitude, stating, “Winning Superbods is more than just a title for me. Even with numerous challenges along the way, I strive to be the best version of myself. I want to inspire more people to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem.”
Throughout the competition, finalists engaged in a series of activities and challenges, demonstrating their intellect, physical prowess, and personal advocacies leading up to the Finals Night.
Special awards presented during the event included the Slay the Runway award by Jojo Bragais to Jether Palomo and Jessica Marasigan, the Super Stunner (Photogenic) award to Aaron Davis and Jessica Marasigan, and the Perfect Smile Award by Urban Smiles to Jether Palomo and Jessica Marasigan, among others.
