International singing sensation and powerhouse vocalist Jed Madela is the first featured artist in City of Dreams Manila’s Original Pilipino Music (OPM) Concert Series at CenterPlay, the premier entertainment lounge located at the heart of the resort’s main gaming floor. The celebrated singer-songwriter, actor, and mentor is set to take the stage for a one-night-only concert on January 16 at 9 PM.
Renowned for his exceptional vocal prowess, Jed Madela is hailed as one of the finest male singers in the Philippines. His illustrious career reached global heights in 2005 when he became the first Filipino grand champion at the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA), outshining over 3,000 contestants from more than 50 countries. In 2013, WCOPA honored him with a Hall of Fame Award, placing him alongside iconic names such as Liza Minnelli, Dionne Warwick, and Jennifer Holliday. Known for his heartfelt ballads, Madela has captivated audiences with hits like “The Past” “Forevermore” and “Changes in My Life.”
The “Jed Madela at CenterPlay” concert is the latest in a series of successful monthly performances featuring OPM greats, including Daryl Ong, Imago, Ariel Rivera, Noel Cabangon, Neocolours, Jinky Vidal, Yeng Constantino, Raymond Lauchengco, Janno Gibbs, Rey Valera, Ice Seguerra, “Soul Siren” Nina, and The Company.
Adding to the evening’s entertainment, CenterPlay will host alternating performances by DJs and live bands, including Higher Ground and Part 3, from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
