In a dazzling spectacle at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Binibining Pilipinas celebrated its landmark 60th edition with Myrna Esguerra of Abra and Jasmin Bungay of Pampanga emerging as the night’s luminaries. Myrna, a first-time delegate from Abra, triumphed over 39 other contestants to claim the coveted title of Binibining Pilipinas International 2024. Adorned in a new crown crafted by Manny Halasan, Myrna was crowned amidst cheers by Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio and outgoing Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez, who is set to compete in the upcoming Miss International in Tokyo.
Equally captivating was Jasmin Bungay, who captivated judges and audiences alike to clinch the Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 title. Crowned by Miss Globe 2023 2nd runner-up Anna Valencia Lakrini, Jasmin’s elegance and grace were rewarded with a P1 million cash prize and corporate prize packages.
Completing the royal court were Christal de la Cruz of Zambales and Trisha Martinez of Pila, Laguna, named 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up respectively, each receiving P400,000 in cash. Christal also earned special awards such as Bb. Creamsilk, Bb. Beautederm, Bb. Pizza Hut, and Bb. Ever Bilena.
The evening also showcased the talents of 15 outstanding semi-finalists, reflecting the beauty and diversity of the Philippines: Marikit Manaois (Baguio), Phoebe Godinez (Lapu-Lapu City), Kara Villarosa (Negros Occidental), Tracy Sunio (Bacolod City), Shannen Manzano (General Santos City), Roella Solis (Calumpit, Bulacan), Carmela Joy Cuaresma (Aurora Province), Kim de Luna (Caloocan), Vienne Sirin Feucht (Calamba, Laguna), Monica Acuno (Kalayaan, Laguna), and Samantha Viktoria Acosta (Bulacan Province).
