The City of Firsts marks the month-long celebration with diverse sights of colors
June is a month dedicated to celebrating the vibrant diversity of human sexuality and gender. Let us proudly showcase all the colorful shades within us during this Pride Month! Join Araneta City as we embrace #EveryHueInYou and celebrate love and life in all its beautiful colors.
Starting from June 1, the #PRIDEstrian crossing at the intersection of Gen. Aguinaldo and Gen. Malvar, near Gateway Tower and New Frontier Theater, has been transformed to reflect every color of the pride flag. Walk across this intersection safely, confidently, and with full pride, creating Instagram-worthy moments.
Araneta City, the City of Firsts, is also presenting the #ForestOfHue, a unique art installation featuring vibrant and colorful trees. Come and capture memorable photos or TikTok videos in this enchanting setting. The #ForestOfHue can be experienced at Ali Mall Activity Area from June 5 to 9, Farmers Plaza Bazaar from June 10 to 18, Gateway Mall Activity Area from June 19 to 22, and Farmers Plaza Activity Area from June 24 to 30.
In support of HIV awareness, Araneta City is hosting the Tanggulan art exhibit by photographer Niccolo Cosme. This captivating exhibit showcases portraits of advocates like Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2022 Gabrielle Basiano, and Bb. Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo. These portraits are painted using HIV+ blood. The Tanggulan exhibit will be held at the Gateway Gallery Studio from June 8 to 18, Ali Mall Activity Area from June 19 to 22, and Gateway Mall Activity Area from June 23 to 30.

Furthermore, Araneta City is committed to fostering an inclusive space for everyone. Agency personnel will participate in a special learning session on gender and sexuality, led by Ameerah Milano, a faculty member and Coordinator of the Gender and Development Desk of the Academic Affairs Office at Far Eastern University. This session aims to educate participants about sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
