California E-bike has been in the Philippines from early 2013 with E-Scooter and later on came out with other different versions of e-bikes. Now California E-bike offers more than 20 variants of the e-bikes.
The growing popularity of e-bike due to environmental concerns and being fun to ride, California E-bike is gearing towards its mission to improve transportation in an eco-friendly way, one e-bike at a time.
One good thing of using of E-bikes, is that it does not require a person to hold a valid driver’s license neither it requires a registration. Of course wearing a helmet strongly suggested by safety as a personal choice.
Upgrades and Accessories are also offered by California E-bike for safety and aesthetics. Their shops also offer compartment upgrades, LED Spoke and wheel lights and bike motor locks to name a few.

California E-bike can be purchased as low as 10,800 pesos to 68,000 pesos, they also offer 3 and 6 months credit card installments on all their e-bike models.
California E-bike recently joined the Manila International Auto Show and showcased their top e-bike models allowing visitors to try these variants. I visited MIAS and tried a few of the new products of California e-bikes.
SIERRA E-BIKE
Sierra is their newest offering in the e-bike line, it has a maximum speed of 25 kmph with a riding distance of 40km on full charge. Anybody within 100kg can be accommodated in this e-bike.
MALIBU – SEGWAY LIKE
Included in the exhibit is one of their latest offering- Malibu, this is their version of the Segway.
Malibu boasts of a Lean steer frame (LSF) height adjuster, if you are familiar with Segway you know how hard it is to grip the height adjustment knob on the LSF. Simply slip this tool over the knob and give it 1/4 to 1/2 turn beyond finger tight and your LSF will be much harder to move while gliding or pulling it up stairs. Malibu also features a smart balancing system that makes it user-friendly even for beginners.
I tried it and enjoyed using it!
BERKELY SMART BALANCE WHEEL
Another featured variant is Berkely Smart Balance Wheel, with an Anti-slip rubber pedal and a 360 degree turning capacity. This variant is also equipped with a smart balancing system.
It’s like a segway but no handle. I tried it during the MIAS and enjoyed using it. First I have to be guided but very quickly I managed on my own.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
As an added after-sales service extended to their customers, California e-bike offers free charging at any of their shop in case of battery emergency.
