Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), the country’s largest restaurant chain that owns Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon and Mang Inasal, together with Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), one of the countries leading commercial banks, launched the Happyplus card. The two proudly Pinoy companies have teamed up to introduce the first cashless payment rewards card in the country, Happy plus card.
I was invited and attended the press launch where JFC Chairman and CEO Tony Tan Caktiong and BPI President Aurelio Montinola led the ceremonies of introducing the happyplus card to the public at Jollibee branch at the Mind Museum at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The happyplus card is JFC’s customer loyalty program that rewards it’s members points every time they eat in any participating Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon and (soon to be) Mang Inasal establishments. These points are accumulated and can then be used as payment for any items sold in any participating JFC stores.
BPI, a foreplayer in cashless pyament innovation serves as JFC’s technology and infrastructure provider for the program.
Let’s me explain to you how you can benefit from it and how to use it.
Every Ph 50 Spent = 1 Happy point = one (1) peso added to your accumulated rewards that you can use as discounts on your next purchase or get free food.
Every time you load your happyplus card, you get
Ph 100 load = 1 raffle entry
Ph 300 load = 5 raffle entries
Ph 500 load = 10 raffle entries
Ph 1000 load = 25 raffle entries
There are monthly draws with 1,111 monthly winners. Be one of them!
1000 Winners of Ph 500
100 Winners of Ph 1,000
10 Winners of Ph 10,000
1 Winner of Ph 100,000
Now you don’t have to take out your cash from your wallet, search your pocket for coins, or even wait for change. All you have to do is tap your happyplus card on the terminal and your done. Ang Bilis! Paying for your food is faster than ever.

I think happyplus card is a great innovation for the consumers. Aside from the faster checkout, you get rewards every time you use it! For every Ph 50 purchase you get 1 point which is equivalent to Ph 1. That’s 2% discount or reward! That’s great savings!
