Philippines’ newest P-Pop boy group, BGYO, officially debuted on Friday, January 29, with their single ‘The Light’
Streamed live on KTX.PH, BGYO members Akira, JL, Mikki, Nate, and Gelo trended online as fans all over the world anticipated for the release of music video of their single ‘The Light’ in all ABS-CBN online platforms.
The song was written by BGYO members along with Distract and MU Doctor and was composed and arranged by Rogan and Ddank.
Directed by Kring Kim, BGYO’s “The Light” music video showcases the members’ mesmerizing vocals in both English and Tagalog while captivating the audiences with their upbeat dance as they convey the message of overcoming the dark times we experience and following the bright light.
During the live, fans were able to learn about the rigorous training the five underwent from Philippine and South Korean coaches before the much awaited debut.
Prior to the release of the music video, BGYO members each performed their forte and newfound talents that were the fruit of their two year training as Star Hunt Academy Boys and had the chance to show their gratitude to their training team composing of big names from the industry such as music icon Kitchy Molina, choreographer Mickey Perz, and coaches from South Korea’s MU Doctor.
