Cherished traditions and new experiences await this Yuletide season at the City of Firsts
This holiday season, Araneta City invites families and friends to experience Christmas Bliss: Making New Memories, a festive celebration that combines cherished holiday traditions with the thrill of fresh, unforgettable moments.
As one of Metro Manila’s most loved Christmas destinations, Araneta City promises to deliver a joyful mix of nostalgia and exciting new attractions, making every visit a chance to create lasting memories.
“We believe the holiday season is all about spreading joy and warmth, and that’s exactly what Araneta City embodies. With every light, event, and decoration, we want all our Araneta City-zens to feel the magic of Christmas,” said Marjorie Go, Vice President for Marketing of Araneta City.
The festive atmosphere comes alive on November 14 with the lighting of the iconic Giant Christmas Tree, now standing proudly in its original location where the tradition began in 1981. Standing 75 feet tall and 25 feet wide, this much-anticipated tree is adorned with 3,000 pine garlands, 6,500 twinkling lights, and colorful ornaments, making it the dazzling centerpiece of the holiday season. Its glow radiates between two of the city’s landmarks—the Smart Araneta Coliseum and Fiesta Carnival.
Araneta City’s holiday magic continues with other must-see attractions. The annual Parolan Bazaar, which opened in October near Farmers Garden, is the perfect destination for Christmas lights, decor, and ornaments. On November 22, the giant Belen beside Farmers Plaza will be lit up, adding to the festive spirit. More exciting holiday spectacles, such as the fireworks show and the Santa and Friends Mall Parade, are set to light up the weekends ahead.
A highlight of Araneta City’s holiday attractions is the Fiesta Carnival, the nostalgic indoor amusement park. Since its reopening last year, the iconic venue now offers a variety of modern rides and activities, providing fun for all ages. The Fiesta Carnival is open daily, starting at 10 AM.
To make this season even more special, Araneta City is hosting the “70 Gifts for 70 Years” online promo, a weekly giveaway that celebrates the City of Firsts’ seven-decade anniversary. Shoppers who join the promo have the chance to win exclusive prizes, adding even more excitement to the holiday season.
