City of Firsts promotes mental health through several activities
In a world where the demands of daily life often become overwhelming, there come moments when we must pause and take a breather from the burdens of stress. During such times, it becomes crucial to prioritize our mental well-being, just as we do our physical health.
Moreover, it’s our responsibility to raise awareness about the significance of mental health to others. By imparting the importance of mental well-being, we contribute to a society marked by compassion and understanding, where individuals feel empowered to seek assistance when needed.
This World Mental Health Day, the City of Firsts joins this global endeavor through a series of activities designed to emphasize the importance of mental well-being.
From October 10 to October 15, the “This Is Me” exhibit at the Gateway Mall activity center offers a visually striking and emotionally uplifting experience. The exhibit showcases expansive 4×7 feet panels adorned with uplifting words, intended to inspire all who visit. Additionally, touching and encouraging words will resonate at the Quantum Skyview in the New Gateway Mall 2 during the same period.
On October 10th, the Gateway Mall Activity Area will host an enlightening Mental Health Talk. The objective is to encourage open dialogue and promote awareness regarding mental health issues.
To amplify the event’s impact, mental health professionals will be on hand to offer free consultations and counseling. This ensures that attendees have access to professional guidance should they require it.
With soothing melodies filling the air through uplifting music, the event promises to be a moment of connection and introspection.
