Araneta City Celebrates Independence Day 2024

Araneta City proudly joins everyJUAN in celebrating Philippine Independence Day. Join us for a week-long series of activities from June 7 to June 12. Here are the details:

1. Musika ni Juan Independence Day Concert
     Quantum Skyview, UGB, Gateway Mall 2
     June 12 (Wednesday), 2 PM 

2. Fernando Amorsolo Art Exhibit
     Gateway Mall 1 Activity Area
     June 7 to 14 (Friday-Friday) 

Presented by Pinoy Lug-Lego, delve into Filipino cultural heritage with Lego renditions of the masterpieces by the first National Artist, Fernando Amorsolo. Join us in celebrating Philippine independence through this unique display of block artistry.

3. Local Products & Delicacies Bazaar by POP QC
     Ali Mall Activity Area
     June 8 to 12 (Saturday-Wednesday) 

Join us in supporting local businesses at POP QC’s Local & Delicacies Bazaar, showcasing locally sourced and crafted products.

4. Independence Day-themed Costume Content & Fashion Show
     Farmers Plaza Activity Area
     June 9, 1 PM (Sunday) 

In collaboration with the Fashion Group of the Philippines, this event will spotlight Filipino talent by showcasing the innovative designs of local artisans on the runway. Through the medium of fashion and style, we bring together communities in a celebration of Filipino identity and artistic expression.

Larry Alcala: Slices of Life, Wit, and Humor
  Gateway Gallery, L5, Gateway Mall Tower
     June 4 – 30, 10 AM – 6 PM

Presenting a mobile exhibit featuring the artworks of editorial cartoonist and National Artist for the Visual Arts, LARRY ALCALA. Titled “Slices of Life, Wit, and Humor,” this project is a collaboration with the Filipino Heritage Festival Inc. and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
