Boracay reverberated with melodies and love during the “Summer For Reel” event, where Kapamilya artists Angela Ken, Maki, and Bugoy Drilon graced the island with enchanting acoustic performances last Saturday, May 4th.
Angela captivated the audience with her soulful renditions of both covers and original compositions, including heartfelt tunes like “Alas Diyes” and “Ako Naman Muna.” Collaborating with Maki, she also mesmerized with their duet “Sikulo.”
Maki electrified the venue with a range of performances, notably his acclaimed songs “Bakit?,” “Kailan?,” and the chart-topping hit “Saan?” The ABS-CBN Music sensation also offered a sneak peek of his upcoming single “Dilaw.”
Bugoy added to the island’s ambiance with his emotive renditions, including the poignant “Waiting in Vain,” timeless classics like “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You” and “One Day,” as well as his own hit “Paano Na Kaya.”
The grand finale of ABS-CBN’s summer extravaganza featured a beachside screening of the beloved romantic comedy “Love You To The Stars and Back,” starring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, against Boracay’s picturesque backdrop.
Keeping the energy high, DJs Stephen Magsino and Hottiejib spun the hottest tracks courtesy of MYX Sets, ensuring the festivities continued long into the night.
