Alisah Bonaobra, one of the Philippines’ most talented singers, has delivered a stunning version of the Himig Handog hit song “Hanggang Kailan.” The original version was sung by top-notch singer Angeline Quinto. However, with Alisah’s superb vocals and guidance from the song’s composer, Joel Mendoza, this version has surpassed all expectations.
What sets Alisah’s version apart is the fact that it is essentially the “Composer’s Cut.” According to Joel Mendoza, this version is something that listeners need to experience themselves to understand why it should be labeled that way. And indeed, Alisah’s rendition is worthy of everyone’s attention.
The song was recorded for six hours at Wild Grass Studio in Quezon City, with Joel Mendoza serving as Alisah’s vocal coach. The producer of this version is San Francisco-based RJA Productions. Also, it will be distributed by Star Music PH, a mainstream label.

The original version of “Hanggang Kailan” was a breakthrough composition for Joel during the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs songfest in 2014. Angeline Quinto’s interpretation of the song was one of the notable hits in that edition of the contest. However, Alisah has proven that she is just as capable of keeping up with the high demands of this song.

Alisa flew from the US prior to the pandemic to personally express her vision for her career.
Her originals, written by premier Filipino tunesmiths led by Cecile Azarcon, have showcased her wide vocal range and amiable style. Alisah is currently doing shows in the United States.
