airasia Superapp and Swiss-Belhotel International have solidified their partnership through a formal agreement. The signing ceremony, held at Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar Bali, signifies a significant milestone for airasia Superapp as a leading travel platform in Southeast Asia. The collaboration grants airasia Superapp users access to over 125 Swiss-Belhotel International properties across 19 countries.
The strategic partnership agreement was signed by Tan Mai Yin, Chief Commercial Officer of airasia Superapp, and Gavin M. Faull, Chairman & President of Swiss-Belhotel International. With this partnership, airasia Superapp expands its ecosystem to include 16 renowned brands from Swiss-Belhotel International, such as MAUA by Swiss-Belhotel, Grand Swiss-Belhotel, Swiss-Belsuites, Swiss-Belboutique, Swiss-Belhotel, Swiss-Belresidences, Swiss-Belresort, Swiss-Belinn, Swiss-Belexpress, Zest, and others.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the long-term potential of airasia Superapp’s travel business, aligning with the e-Conomy SEA 2022 research, which predicts substantial growth in Southeast Asia’s digital economy. The online travel business, in particular, is projected to reach a Gross Merchandise Value of over US$44 billion or IDR 646 trillion by 2025.
