AirAsia Philippines’ Promo Success Driven by Tech-Savvy Gen Z and Millennial Travelers

The AirAsia MOVE app has successfully marketed the airline’s monthly promotions, reaching millions worldwide. In the Philippines alone, AirAsia recorded a total of 1.10 million seats booked under various promotions such as the PISO Sale and monthly double-digit sales from January to July 2024. Available until July 28, guests can book domestic and international flights with fares starting as low as PHP 177 one-way base fare for immediate travel until December 30, 2024.

Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines has observed that the trend of ‘revenge travel’ has recently been replaced by ‘journey travel.’ This new trend emphasizes the entire travel experience from point A to point B. Rather than focusing solely on the final destinations, such as a famous beach resort in Boracay or a luxurious hotel in Bangkok, travelers are now prioritizing memorable experiences and discoveries along the way.
