AirAsia Philippines Enhances Systems for Improved Customer Journey

AirAsia Philippines advises guests traveling on domestic and international flights scheduled for the evening of July 10, 2024, to complete their check-in via airasia.com or the AirAsia MOVE App at least two days prior to departure for a smooth travel experience.

A scheduled system upgrade will take place from 7:00 PM on July 10 to 3:00 AM on July 11, affecting all online transactions including bookings, check-in procedures, online kiosks, and bag drop services at all AirAsia-operated airports. During this time, online services via the AirAsia MOVE app, such as manage booking, check-in, and payment for existing bookings, will be temporarily unavailable. Guests are advised to proceed directly to the check-in counters to obtain their printed boarding passes.

AirAsia Philippines encourages guests needing medical or special assistance to arrive at the airport before 7:00 PM to ensure their needs are accommodated.

Steve Dailisan, AirAsia’s Head of Communications and Public Affairs, and First Officer, commented, “AirAsia’s system upgrade, which includes updating its New Skies software, aims to streamline all online transactions—both via the mobile app and at airport counters—for booking, payment, flight schedule modifications, check-in, and add-on purchases, enhancing the overall customer experience. Guests can anticipate additional features with the AirAsia MOVE app following the system upgrade.”
