The AI Smart Scan, a portable x-ray system driven by artificial intelligence, boasts the capability to detect 32 pathologies and/or conditions, including tuberculosis. With its swift detection system, it can perform up to 200 scans in 8 hours, drastically reducing turnaround times from days to mere minutes. Developed by DeepTek, a leading medical imaging AI company in India, its software, Augmento PACS, was specifically crafted by radiologists for radiologists to tackle the daily challenges in the field.
Utilizing AI technology, AI Smart Scan efficiently distinguishes between normal and abnormal cases, facilitating easy detection and generating reports based on initial insights from the radiologist. Moreover, it features a user-friendly interface and a responsible AI system that continually monitors its own performance to ensure alignment with the radiologist’s human findings.
“This solution has already demonstrated its efficacy in Chennai City, India, where 500 out of every 100,000 patients receive a diagnosis, resulting in a 25-fold increase in the detection of tuberculosis,” added Buendia. “With AI Smart Scan, we aim to replicate this success here in the Philippines.”
Advanced Abilities has unveiled Absol, an advanced testing immunodiagnosis, and RevDX, both revolutionizing healthcare with their rapid testing capabilities. Absol serves as a portable point-of-care rapid test kit, conducting blood tests for cardiac, thyroid, metabolic, and inflammatory diagnoses. Meanwhile, RevDX offers rapid complete blood count testing with results available within 5-30 minutes, all from a single prick.
Additionally, Advanced Abilities introduced Policymate, an online platform acting as a digital insurance marketplace, and P-ACE Portal, designed to track insurance and risk management cases for P&I Clubs and shipowners.
Soon to be launched is OneOFW, a mobile app and web portal aiming to streamline coordination between OFWs and government agencies, ensuring their protection and management abroad.
Finally, Advanced eSIM presents a consumer product providing seamless international connectivity via a digital SIM card embedded directly into smartphones. Travelers can access cost-efficient data plans from over 150 countries without the need for physical SIM cards or additional pocket-wifi devices.
