On a scorching summer day, the tranquil ambiance of the Quezon City Memorial Circle underwent a vibrant transformation into a bustling one-stop shop as crowds gathered at the park to avail themselves of free services at ABS-CBN News’ Grand Kapamilya Summer Fair.
With the participation of Comelec (Commission on Elections), over 1,000 individuals had the opportunity to register as voters. Additionally, attendees could address concerns regarding membership status and update personal data at the PhilHealth and SSS booths.
The Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS) also joined the Summer Fair, providing complimentary medical and dental services to participants.
The event further featured livelihood seminars, invigorating Zumba sessions, and complimentary food and face painting. Attendees eagerly engaged in the TV Patrol ‘reporter challenge’ booth.
Moreover, Vivoree, KD Estrada, Jason Dy, Marlo Mortel, BGYO, and other artists treated attendees to a free mini-concert.
Hosted by ABS-CBN News, the Grand Kapamilya Summer Fair aimed to make public services more accessible to Filipinos. Notably, it marked ABS-CBN News’ first onsite event since the pandemic.
