ABS-CBN continues the tradition of highlighting the heartfelt and inspiring stories of Filipinos as it welcomes the holiday season with the much-expected Christmas station ID titled Family is Forever, which celebrates the unwavering, unconditional, and enduring love of Pinoys for their families.
Launched on Monday (November 18), the Christmas station ID is a tribute to Filipinos who embody the true meaning of love for family, as it features the Noblezeda “Keribels” family from Iloilo who always has a happy disposition amidst life’s obstacles; Marielle Hernali, a Typhoon Yolanda survivor from Tacloban who graduated as valedictorian in her class; and Arnel Aba, a one-legged swimmer who won a gold medal in the ASEAN ParaGames.
The new Christmas anthem is also a medley of and an homage to the networks popular Christmas carols through the years Thank You for the Love, Just Love Ngayong Pasko, Family is Love, and Bro, Ikaw Ang Star ng Pasko, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2019 was created by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management Division, headed by Robert Labayen, Johnny De Los Santos and Patrick de Leon, with COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes. It is directed by Paolo Ramos with second unit directors Lorenz Roi Morales and Peewee Azarcon Gonzales.
