ABS-CBN, the premier content provider in the Philippines, proudly maintains its position as one of the nation’s most esteemed brands. Once again, it secured the esteemed Gold Award in the TV Network category at the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards 2024, held on March 22 (Friday), marking another year of consecutive triumph.
The accolades bestowed upon ABS-CBN by the Trusted Brands Awards underscore its commitment to innovation, crafting narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide, and its unwavering dedication to serving Filipinos globally through impactful entertainment and humanitarian initiatives.
In addition to clinching the Gold Award, ABS-CBN’s stalwart figures received individual recognition from Reader’s Digest. Esteemed broadcast journalist Noli “Kabayan” de Castro and beloved celebrity Vice Ganda were commended for their credibility and trustworthiness among the public.
Vice Ganda, host of “It’s Showtime,” continues to reign as the Most Trusted Entertainment and Variety Presenter for an impressive sixth consecutive year. This recognition not only celebrates Vice Ganda’s influence on Philippine entertainment and comedy but also acknowledges her advocacy beyond the realm of fame.
Meanwhile, Noli de Castro, a veteran Kapamilya broadcaster, garners another Trusted Brands trophy in his illustrious career as this year’s Most Trusted Radio Presenter. His enduring presence on the airwaves, notably through his long-standing radio show “Kabayan” on DWPM Radyo 630/TeleRadyo Serbisyo and “TV Patrol,” exemplifies a wealth of experience and reliability.
Now in its 26th year, the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards spotlight brands that have significantly impacted consumers, gauging trustworthiness, quality, customer-centricity, innovation, and social responsibility, among other criteria.
