Philippines’ Elevate Secures Impressive 4-0 Victory at Call of Duty®: Mobile World Championship 2024

This marks the first world championship trophy for not only the Philippines but also Garena regions

Team Elevate has claimed victory at the Call of Duty®: Mobile World Championship 2024, which concluded over the weekend at DreamHack Atlanta. This win not only brings immense pride to the Philippines, now home to the world’s top Call of Duty: Mobile esports team, but also marks the first-ever championship win for the Garena regions.

The team consisted of Kenneth “KenDy” Pimentel, Justin “Susanoo” Cecilio, John “Yop1” Manalang, Juan “kLo” Morales, Patrick “Peejay” Sagudo, and their coach Mark “Olea” Olea. Elevate’s journey has been remarkable, transitioning from underdogs during their Mamba LowKings days in Garena to becoming champions. Their path to the finals was filled with challenges, particularly after finishing third in the group stage, which placed them in the lower bracket of the playoffs.

In the Grand Finals on October 6, Elevate faced China’s formidable Qing Jiu Club, with a significant portion of the impressive USD 1 million prize pool at stake. Elevate showcased an outstanding performance, dominating from the outset and leaving no room for Qing Jiu Club to recover. Ultimately, the Philippine team secured a clean sweep, winning all four Grand Final matches and breaking China’s longstanding dominance in the highly competitive Call of Duty: Mobile esports arena.

To celebrate this milestone, players on all Garena servers can participate in the “World Championship 2024 Victory – Claim Your Mark” event, a 7-day login celebration running from October 11 to 20.
