Alabang, Muntinlupa City – G2G All Spice Eatery Group Inc. is proud to announce the grand opening of Rangoon Ruby. The first authentic Burmese restaurant in the Philippines, located at the Upper Ground Level, East Wing of Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The restaurant’s mission is to share the unique and vibrant flavors of Burma with the Filipino community. Led by Max Lee, Executive Chef of Rangoon Ruby in the US. The restaurant is committed to bringing the true essence of Burmese cuisine to life in every dish. Chef Max’s expertise ensures that guests enjoy the same authentic flavors he has cherished with his family.

Joining Chef Max in spearheading this exciting venture is Rommel Ng, co-founder of Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things and President of G2G All Spice Eatery Group Inc. His extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Combined with his passion for enriching the local dining scene, has been instrumental in bringing Rangoon Ruby to the Philippines. Together, their vision is to create a platform for cultural exchange while elevating the Filipino food scene with diverse, exciting flavors.

The menu

Rangoon Ruby draws inspiration from Indian, Thai, and Chinese influences, featuring signature dishes. Monk Hingar—a hearty catfish chowder with thin rice noodles in a slow-cooked broth made with lemongrass, ginger, garlic, and ground fried rice, topped with soft-boiled egg and fried fish cake. Other must-try items include Nan Gyi Dok, a Burmese noodle dish with creamy coconut chicken sauce. And the Ruby Shrimp, stir-fried with a special blend of spices. Guests can also savor Samosas filled with mashed potatoes and red onions, served with the their signature tamarind sauce. Or the Tea Leaf Salad. A traditional Burmese dish made with fermented Burmese tea leaves, fried garlic, peanuts, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds.
