ABS-CBN has once again been recognized for its exemplary corporate governance, receiving the prestigious ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
This marks the fifth occasion that ABS-CBN has been honored alongside leading publicly listed companies and insurance firms in the Philippines for its adherence to government regulations, as reflected in the 2023 ACGS and Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) assessment results.
The ICD bestows this award upon companies that achieve a score of at least 80 points in the ACGS Assessment, which comprises 184 questions based on publicly available information on corporate websites. The ICD states that the initiative aims to elevate the standards and practices of corporate governance in the country, making well-governed Philippine publicly listed companies and insurance firms more appealing to investors.
The ICD is a non-stock, non-profit organization committed to enhancing the professionalism of corporate directorship in the Philippines.
