MYX Launches Search for New Talent with MYX VJ Search 2024

MYX has officially launched auditions for the MYX VJ Search 2024, seeking vibrant and aspiring VJs to represent the music channel’s new era.

The MYX VJ Search is open to candidates who are authentic, outgoing, passionate about music, and full of positive energy to engage with audiences.

“This generation values authenticity, and that’s our primary focus. You don’t need to fit a specific mold; as long as you’re genuine and a music fan, we want to see you. We’re excited to discover the next group of VJs who will join us,” said Maribel Hernaez, Managing Director of ABS-CBN Global.

To participate in the MYX VJ Search, contestants must be between 18 and 27 years old and fluent in English. Interested individuals can register online at myx.global/vjsearch and submit a self-introductory video explaining why they should be the next MYX VJ. The video should include the contestant’s name, age, location, and current occupation. Online submissions will close on October 15 (Tuesday) at 11:59 PM.

This search is open to residents of the Philippines, the US, Canada, the UK, Dubai, and Australia. The announcement of 12 VJ finalists will take place on November 4 (Monday) via MYX YouTube Live and MYX’s social media accounts, while the grand winner will be revealed during the MYX Music Awards on November 21 (Thursday).

With the tagline “the beat of our culture,” MYX serves as a global platform where audiences can watch, hear, and experience a vibrant music culture beyond just sound. It provides access to music-centric content and entertainment featuring Filipino and Asian artists through a multi-platform experience.

MYX is available on air via SKYcable channel 23 and Cignal channel 150 and through various cable operators nationwide. It is also accessible online through digital platforms like YouTube and Amazon Prime.  For more details, follow MYX Global on FacebookYouTube, X (Twitter), TikTok, and Instagram and visit myx.global.
