In an unexpected twist designed to test the Housemates’ emotional control, Kuya revealed a DNA match confirming Jean as Kai’s biological mother. This led to an emotional reunion inside the Big Brother house, where Kai, accompanied by her adoptive mother Flora, met Jean for the first time.
Kai expressed her complex feelings, sharing her gratitude for the life she’s had with her adoptive parents while extending understanding toward Jean’s past. “Na-realize ko na wala akong reason para magalit. I understand your situation. It may not be the right thing to do but it was meant to happen. I am very grateful for the life I have now,” she told Jean.
