Last September 14th, Klook Travel Fest 2024 was held at SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall wherein they gave a lot of exciting deals and discounts.
A lot of exciting deals of up to 8,000 pesos, buy 1 get 1 deals, and hourly hotel stay giveaways were given away during the whole fest! The event lasted for 2 whole days and going in, various booths wherein you can earn freebies are also displayed.
Hosted by PGAG’s very own Eyka Lucas and attended by your favorite Klook Celebrities and Kreators, Klook really did topped it off for this year’s Travel Fest! Klook’s Kreator of the year, Jax Reyes, shared their shared travel saving tips on travel budgeting, and all the amazing deals bia the Klook app!
On day two, fashion and travel Kreator, Lissa Kahayon, and mother-daughter duo, Mommy Haidee and Hazel Quing gave us great advices with their travel talks on how to enjoy your trip especially when you are in different countries!
In line with this, The winner of the Favorite Female Travel Kreator Award 2024, Jen Barangan, was credited for bringing attention to one of Vietnam’s hidden gems and inspired the crowd with her adventure in the country!
And of course, the one, the only, THE legendary award-winning actress and singer, Lea Salonga, graced the stage as she gave an exclusive first look at her brand new Madame Tussauds Singapore wax figure! Lea Salonga shared how surreal it was seing her own life size wax figure because of how real and exact the details are. She also shared how creepy it was looking directly on the wax figure’s eyes and how it feels like it’s looking at you.
Lea Salonga said that it is not only her who shares the glory of having this wax figure to Singapore, as the renowned Filipino Fashion Designer, Rajo Laurel, was the one who made the outfit Lea Salonga was wearing which she wore a decade ago for a very special and iconic performance. They also unveiled that it took six months to finish the wax figure from the time that they were able to get Lea’s measurements with Filipino sculptors actually had a great part making the wax figure.
