Nameless Kids have landed the cover of Spotify’s Pinoy Indie Mix with their latest single, “Gabi,” a heartfelt anthem for unreciprocated love.
This indie-pop track marks a new chapter for the band, which consists of Nhiko Sabiniano, Kim Allen, and Tati de Mesa. Written by Nhiko and Kim, “Gabi” is a love confession, expressing the desire to share a memorable night with someone special.
The music video, featuring Nhiko, Kim, Tati, and Patricia Reyes, delves into the fantasy of a perfect relationship, contrasting it with the realities of love. Directed by John Manalo, with Karen Dela Fuente overseeing the creative direction, the video captures the bittersweet theme of the song.
Within weeks of its release, “Gabi” has become the band’s fastest-growing track in terms of streams, peaking at No. 21 on the Spotify Philippines Viral chart. It has also been featured on editorial playlists such as OPM Rising and Viral Hits Philippines.
Earlier this year, Nameless Kids released the single “Still So In Love,” which was featured on the primetime series “High Street” and peaked at No. 4 on TikTok’s trending hashtags. In 2023, they debuted their first Tagalog track, “Sayo (Ang Mundo),” which has since garnered over a million streams on Spotify. They also released their debut album, “Manila In Bloom,” which included the singles “Hotel Runs” and “Lonely.”
The band has already earned accolades, winning Best Performance for a New Group Recording Artist at the 34th Awit Awards for their debut single “Outlaws.” They have headlined major events like the MYX Music Awards alongside international artist LANY and performed at the ON Festival with Korean artists Suho and Seori.
