CFO and Investor Relations Head also honored
At the 14th Asian Excellence Awards hosted by Corporate Governance Asia, Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) was honored with the title of Best Investor Relations Company. The prestigious awards ceremony took place on May 31st at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong, gathering 245 senior executives from 8 countries and standing as Asia’s largest investor relations event in 14 years.
UnionBank’s recognition was further highlighted by accolades for its top executives. Manuel Lozano, the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer, was named Asia’s Best CFO, while Carlo I. Eñanosa, Head of Corporate Planning and Investor Relations, received the distinction of Best Investor Relations Professional.
Under the theme “Sustainable Asia: Ardor for Green Governance” this year’s Asian Excellence Awards emphasized the region’s commitment to sustainability, corporate social responsibility, investor relations, communications, and corporate excellence.
Corporate Governance Asia highlighted, “The 14th Asian Excellence Recognition Awards honor exceptional executive achievements across the region, serving as inspirations for the broader business community. These awards recognize individuals who demonstrate strong leadership in driving business growth/expansion while upholding the highest ethical standards.”
