DWPM Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo celebrated their first year of delivering daily news and information to the public with a lively pre-anniversary event titled “Puntahan ng Bayan: Kumustahan Day.” The event engaged avid listeners and communities alike with informative discussions and fun activities alongside their Ka-Serbisyo anchors.
Held in San Juan City, the Kumustahan Day brought together Radyo 630 anchors such as “Kabayan” Noli de Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, Alvin Elchico, Doris Bigornia, Tony Velasquez, and “Tyang” Amy Perez, among others, who interacted and bonded with attendees. Participants had the opportunity to experience the role of a radio anchor through challenges like the green screen teleprompter and snapshots with the glambot installation, in addition to participating in various in-program games.
The event also featured insightful discussions led by guest resource speakers on topics ranging from smart parenting and budget-friendly family nutrition to disaster risk preparedness.
Expressing gratitude for the continuous support of their avid listeners, seasoned news anchors Alvin Elchico and Doris Bigornia marked the occasion as a new chapter for DWPM Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo.
“We are thankful that even after one year, the loyal viewers and listeners of DWPM Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo are still with us,” said Alvin. Doris added, “If you don’t let go, we won’t let go either. We will always be together, in the name of public service, accurate information, and news.”
