Coco Martin’s character, Tanggol, gears up for a thrilling new series of action-packed adventures in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” airing weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.
Last Friday (May 24), viewers got a sneak peek into Tanggol’s intense transformation through a special trailer showcasing his adrenaline-charged encounters with his enemies.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the Primetime King shared that viewers are in for an exciting new chapter as Tanggol seeks vengeance against his foes. “Mag-iiba na ‘yung character ni Tanggol. From the time na nakulong siya, lumaya, at sumubok magbagong-buhay. Ngayon, another level naman ng journey ang papasukin ni Tanggol,” he said.
Enduring a lifetime of suffering, Tanggol is set to finally seek justice for his loved ones. Though unaware that Ramon (Christopher De Leon) is his biological father, Tanggol will take on the notorious drug lord, whom he holds responsible for Mokang’s death.
The two will clash in a life-altering battle royale. Viewers can also look forward to more high-octane scenes as Tanggol vows to protect his friend Bubbles (Ivana Alawi) from Pablo (Elijah Canlas), suspected of abusing her.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” heats up further as viewers anticipate the intense confrontation between Tindeng (Charo Santos), Rigor’s (John Estrada) mother-in-law, and his domineering mistress, Lena (Mercedes Cabral).
