From humble beginnings as a ‘kontesera,’ Bukidnon’s teen sensation Jillian Pamat, hailing from Coach Bamboo’s Kamp Kawayan, has soared to new heights, clinching the title of grand champion in “The Voice Teens” Season 3.
During the exhilarating two-night Final Showdown on May 18–19, Jillian captivated both coaches and audiences alike with a series of stellar performances. From her duet rendition of “Tatsulok” with Bamboo to her electrifying take on Sarah Geronimo’s chart-topping hit “Ikot-Ikot,” and her soulful rendition of the 1994 rock classic “Tag-Ulan,” Jillian secured the highest number of audience votes among the Final 3, with an impressive 53.09%. Trailing behind her were MarTeam’s Steph Lacuata as first runner-up with 24.99%, and Team Supreme hopeful Yen Victoria as third placer with 21.91%.
Upon her crowning moment, Jillian graciously extended her gratitude to her parents and supporters, thanking them for their unwavering support throughout her journey on “The Voice Teens” and acknowledging the gift of her singing talents.
“First and foremost, thank you very much, Lord, for the talent You have bestowed upon me. To all who believed in and supported me on my journey in ‘The Voice,’ thank you very much. Mom, Dad, thank you very much, and to all who voted, may the Lord bless you abundantly. Thank you very much,” exclaimed Jillian.
Meanwhile, Coach Bamboo commended Jillian’s exceptional performance during the finals, affirming that she was truly deserving of the title of “The Voice Teens” champion.
“I expected it because she put the work in. I also want to say thank you to everyone who supported her. She’s a very deserving champion. I have such a talented and beautiful spirit here with me. I’m forever thankful for her and this moment,” expressed Bamboo.
Coach Bamboo was also recognized by “The Voice Philippines” for his outstanding contributions, having served as one of its mainstay coaches since its inaugural season in 2013.
As the grand champion, Jillian will be rewarded with a recording and management contract from Universal Music Group (UMG) Philippines, along with P1 million courtesy of ABS-CBN Studios.
She now joins Jona Marie Soquite from Season 1, and Season 2’s Heart Salvador, Cydel Gabutero, Isang Manlapaz, and Kendra Aguirre as co-champions of “The Voice Teens.”
