Hotel101 Global Pte. Ltd. (“Hotel101 Global”), in collaboration with esteemed engineering firms Kamita Sekkei and Technocrew, along with the contractor of the Hotel101-Niseko project – Iwata Chizaki Inc., has officially committed to the development of the environmentally progressive Hotel101-Niseko. This partnership solidifies their shared vision for a property that not only adheres to eco-efficient operational standards but also establishes a new benchmark for sustainability in the region.
Set to be the inaugural hotel in all of Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan to obtain a CASBEE rating, Hotel101-Niseko represents a significant milestone in environmental stewardship. CASBEE, standing for the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency, serves as Japan’s authoritative framework for assessing the environmental performance of buildings.
With Kamita Sekkei and Technocrew contributing their expertise garnered from notable projects such as Hokkaido University, the City of Sapporo, and the City of Obihiro, among others, and under the adept construction management of Iwata Chizaki Inc., renowned for their work on the iconic Chitose International Airport, Hotel101-Niseko is poised to become a beacon of sustainable development. This collaborative effort closely aligns with the values outlined in the recently signed pact, emphasizing a commitment to environmentally responsible practices and the integration of smart systems to enhance efficiency. The architectural design and technological infrastructure of Hotel101-Niseko are carefully crafted to promote sustainability through green-inspired architecture and the implementation of eco-friendly operational practices.
