Former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contestant Keisha Paulo has recently unveiled her debut single “Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang” under ABS-CBN’s Star Music.
The track delves into the turmoil of holding on as a relationship comes to a painful end. Composed and produced by Thyro Alfaro, the song impeccably showcases Keisha’s powerhouse vocals and wide vocal range.
“It’s about someone struggling to let go of a loved one. I believe many can relate to that, as I myself have experienced that kind of heartache. I’m incredibly grateful to Thyro for selecting me to interpret this song,” Keisha remarked during the single’s launch.
“Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang” will be featured on her forthcoming album, slated for release later this year.
“Most of the songs you’ll hear revolve around themes of love, broken relationships, and mental health issues. The album also explores the genres of pop, soul, and R&B,” Keisha teased.
Despite the challenges of competing on “Tawag ng Tanghalan” season 6, Keisha reflects on her journey with gratitude, acknowledging its role in her artistic growth.
“I remember the daily rounds, pretending you’re ready for today’s performance while already thinking about tomorrow’s. It was tough, but I’m also thankful for the experience because it strengthened me as I embarked on my career,” she shared.
