During the town’s fiesta celebration in Silang, Cavite, foodpanda logistics delivery partners showcased an inspiring sense of camaraderie by participating in a motorcade to support local foodpanda vendors.
Under the leadership of Ka-panda Rhy Reyes, the delivery partners actively engaged in the vibrant festivities. They reached out to partner vendors and decorated their motorcycles with posters from the participating stores, contributing to the promotion of local businesses.
“We spoke to the partner vendors and asked if they could hang their store banners on our motorcycles so that more SilangueƱos would be encouraged to order from them through foodpanda,” Reyes explained.
The fiesta of Silang celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Candelaria every year with a grand parade, street dancing, and various festivities. It’s renowned for the strong solidarity among the townspeople, a spirit mirrored by the close bond between Ka-pandas and local partner vendors.
