Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the leading airline in the Philippines, commenced its first-ever Manila-Da Nang flight on December 7, 2023, providing travelers with a swifter and more cost-effective means to reach central Vietnam’s largest city.
Operating thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, CEB’s Manila-Da Nang flights follow a schedule departing Manila at 7:25 PM (PH time) and arriving in Da Nang at 9:30 PM (Vietnam time). The return flight from Da Nang to Manila is scheduled from 10:30 PM (Vietnam time) to 2:25 AM (PH time).
This marks Cebu Pacific’s third destination in Vietnam, solidifying its position as the primary Philippine carrier servicing one of Asia’s most sought-after tourist spots. Apart from Da Nang, CEB also operates flights to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, and Ho Chi Minh City, the nation’s economic hub.
Previously, Manila-based passengers had to secure connecting flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or nearby countries, enduring at least ten (10) hours in transit to reach Da Nang. However, CEB’s new non-stop flight slashes this travel time, enabling passengers to reach Da Nang in just three (3) hours, saving approximately seven (7) hours compared to alternate airlines.
Xander Lao, President, and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific, highlighted the airline’s legacy in catalyzing tourism, from enhancing Siargao’s allure to facilitating travel for Filipino workers to Dubai. With the launch of the Da Nang route, Cebu Pacific once again revolutionizes travel, making Da Nang, Vietnam, more accessible and budget-friendly for all travelers.
Da Nang, renowned for its opulent resorts, stunning architecture, and tantalizing cuisine, serves as the gateway to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: The Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary, and Hoi An ancient town.
CEB’s extensive flight network covers 35 domestic and 25 international destinations, spanning Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, cementing its status as a versatile and expansive airline.
