The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines proudly announces its successful participation in the Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) 2023, which took place from September 24 to 29 in Bangkok, Thailand. Recognized as one of the most influential MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) trade shows in the Asia-Pacific region, this event serves as a vibrant platform for industry leaders to connect, collaborate, and explore promising opportunities.
With a robust presence at the event, the Philippines’ delegation achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of valuable partnerships and the generation of substantial interest in the Philippines as a premier MICE event destination. Notably, the delegation secured partial reported sales leads with high-potential MICE events valued at US$2,585,097.24 (PhP144,765,445.44), underscoring the growing appeal of the Philippines in the global MICE market.

The overwhelming interest expressed by international stakeholders reaffirms the Philippines’ status as a top choice for MICE events. We are committed to nurturing these partnerships and enhancing our offerings to meet the evolving needs of the MICE industry,” stated TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.
Additionally, TPB received the prestigious “Best National Tourism Organization” award, as voted by readers of TTG Asia Media, a leading publisher and event organizer in the travel and tourism sector in the Asia Pacific region. This accolade was presented during the TTG Travel Awards Gala Dinner on September 28, marking a significant recognition of the TPB’s dedication to promoting the Philippines as a prime MICE destination.
Having actively participated in IT&CMA since 2013, TPB’s consistent presence at this esteemed event has solidified the Philippines’ reputation as a premier MICE destination. Notably, this year’s showcase featured an expanded booth, spanning an impressive 150 sqm and hosting 24 exhibitors, including tour operators, hotel/resort properties, an events management company, and an airline, all passionately promoting the country’s diverse offerings and seamless event planning services.
