Manila, Philippines, September 27, 2023 – The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) made history as they bid farewell to Binibining Pilipinas – International 2022 Nicole Borromeo through a grand public send-off event at the Quantum Skyview of the New Gateway Mall 2. This momentous occasion marked the historic first time in Binibining Pilipinas history that a Binibini queen’s send-off took place in a public gathering.
A Grand Public Send-off
The event, held on September 27, brought together not only pageant fans and supporters but also family and friends of Borromeo. To demonstrate the spacious Quantum Skyview, located beneath the impressive 700-square-meter indoor ceiling mesh LED screen of the New Gateway Mall 2, provided a fitting backdrop. In this unique setting, the Binibini queen was able to personally express her gratitude to her supporters, who responded with cheers and applause.
Meet Nicole Borromeo
Nicole Borromeo, a 24-year-old Interior Design student from the University of San Carlos School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Design, is more than just a beauty queen. As a matter of fact she is an advocate for holistic well-being and art therapy. Moreover Nicole actively volunteers for relief operations in typhoon-stricken areas and is known for providing art therapy sessions to wounded soldiers at the V. Luna Hospital. She also spent time with the kids of Operation Smile at Sta. Ana Hospital, alongside Miss International 2022 Jasmine Selberg.
Aiming for Glory
With the nation’s support behind her, Nicole Borromeo is on a mission to secure the Philippines’ 7th Miss International crown. Furthermore the prestigious pageant will take place on October 26, 2023, at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. Binibining Pilipinas invites everyone to rally behind Nicole as she competes on the international stage.
