On a rainy September evening, our group embarked on a tantalizing journey to Marvin Agustin’s newest culinary haven, Tango Tandoor. Nestled in the very spot where Cochi’s once stood, this restaurant is the embodiment of a culinary dream come true.
Marvin jetted in two talented Indian chefs all the way from his cherished eatery in London to bring the vibrant flavors of India to the heart of Manila.
As I explored the menu, I found myself impressed by its wide array of choices. It caters to everyone, from those with a Filipino palate longing for familiar tastes to the intrepid foodies eager to savor the bold and aromatic spices intrinsic to Indian cuisine.
Some standout dishes are the Beetroot Kebab (P218), a fragrant symphony of spices and plant-based goodness; the Cauliflower Croquettes (P200), crispy morsels of joy; and the Lamb Rogan Josh (P700), a rich and savory masterpiece that will transport your senses straight to India.
